This is Mr.Dharmo, son of Konji. He is 77 years old. He is reading a pamphlet about development written in his mother tongue.This is the first time that he has ever seen his own Parkari language in written form, so it is a big surprise for him.

He can read Gujerati and a little bit of Sindhi, although he has never been to School. He read in a loud voice so every one could hear.

He commented, “I am lucky that before my death I have seen this good thing. I never even dreamed that this marvellous work could happen. This proves that the bad days for the Parkari Community have all gone and the future looks bright”.
